Retention Seminar

03. May 2024
Studio A, Sentralen

How do we retain women and minorities in the videogame industry?

Based on the success of last year’s Recruitment Summit, Noneda is organizing a ‘Retention Seminar’ in Oslo in May, where we will be focusing on the retention of women and minorities in the videogame industry.

The Norwegian videogames industry is among the world leaders when it comes to the proportion of female employees and managers in games companies, but we have a ways to go before we can say that the industry is just as good at recruiting and retaining women as men. In collaboration with Women in Games Norway, we are therefore organizing a seminar and networking meeting the 3rd of May at Sentralen in Oslo, where we will go deeper into a number of these issues.

How do we get more women and minorities to stay in the industry? What can we do when a situation takes place in a company, and how do we build a more inclusive company culture?

Who can participate?

This seminar is aimed at anyone who works with recruitment or personnel in Norwegian videogame companies. We begin with a networking dinner the evening before the seminar, before kicking off an exciting and content-rich program at Sentralen the following day.

Program and speakers will be announced soon. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send an e-mail to sylvia@noneda.no.

The event is free and registration can be found further down the page.
